Mr. Alex Gonzalez

Alex Gonzalez is an active educator based in Tampa, FL, currently serving as the Director of Percussion at Palmetto High School. Alex’s philosophy on education is that through open communication and learner-centered teaching we can not only help build better musicianship but also build a better sense of humanity and connection to others. When he is not teaching Alex also runs EDM events through his event management company, R34 Events, while also producing and DJing under his alias, BD LAEX. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s in Music Education and proudly endorses Vic Firth drumsticks and mallets.
