Policies and Fees

  • There is a $30 non-refundable registration fee due at the time of registration.
  • There is a costume fee $75.00 class due by November 1, 2017. All costumes are non-refundable. There will be a $10 late fee added if costume fee is received after November 7, 2017.
  • There will be a recital fee due April 1, 2018 which will pay for production costs, renting of the recital facility for rehearsals and recital, and 2 tickets per family. The amount of the recital fee is $60 to $80 for families.
  • Tuition at Julestarz is based on a 10-month dance year. We prefer that tuition be paid in full for the entire year. If paid in full, you will receive a 10% discount. This offer is valid until November 1, 2017. For your convenience, tuition can also be divided into 10 equal monthly payments. The monthly payment remains the same regardless of how many lessons fall in a given month because your monthly payment is not for a month of lessons, but for one portion of the year’s dance lessons. If paying monthly, tuition is due on the first of each month. If tuition is not received by the 7th day of the month, a $10 late fee will be added to your account. Julestarz does not mail out monthly statements for tuition payments, statements are only mailed for accounts that are past due. Tuition is not refundable. All accounts must be paid in full by May 1, 2018 or your child will not be allowed to participate in the annual recital.
  • Understand that you are required to give Julestarz a 30-day notice if your student(s) will be withdrawing from classes or lessons. You are still financially responsible during that 30-day period. You understand that tuition is non-refundable.

Private Music Lesson Tuition

20 minutes, ages 4 & 6 $17 per lesson
30 minutes, ages 7+ $24 per lesson

Upon registration, music students will be told what music books to purchase for the class. Price of books varies by age, instrument, and level of difficulty. Tuition for music lessons is due on the first of the month for the number of lessons that fall within that month. You are responsible for the entire month’s tuition – even if you miss a lesson. You are paying to reserve your time slot each week whether you attend the lesson or not. Make up lessons are based on availability and are not guaranteed.

Auto Pay

We encourage all families to sign up on our AutoPay system. You can pick up your EFT forms from the office staff or activate AutoPay by logging in to your account.

Registration Fee

There is an annual, nonrefundable registration fee of $30 due at the time the student registers.

Costume Fee

There is a costume fee (Amount TBA) per class due by Nov. 1, 2016. There will be a $10 late fee if received after Nov. 7, 2016.

Recital Fee

There will be a recital fee due on April 1, 2017, which will pay for the renting of the recital facility, production costs per family. The amount of the recital fee is $50 to $70 per family.

Tuition payments

  • Tuition is due on the first of every month. If your first class of the month falls after the 1st, please pay your tuition the prior week to ensure we receive it on time. A $10 late fee will be charged to your account after a 7 day grace period.
  • Payments can be placed in the payment box located in the studio lobby, sent by mail, or paid online with a valid checking or savings account.
  • Check and cash are the only acceptable forms of payment at the studio.
  • If paying by cash, please put it in an envelope with the student’s name on it.
  • If paying by check, please write the student’s name on the bottom of the check.
  • AutoPay: You can pick up EFT forms in the lobby. Tuition will be drafted on the 1st of the month for all accounts on AutoPay.
  • We have a 30 day drop policy for all classes. You will be responsible for payment for the last 30 days.
  • If you have questions regarding your account, please call the studio and someone will return your call. Teachers are unable to discuss your bill.

Returned Check Fee

A $25 fee will be charged for all returned checks and EFT payments.

Make-up classes

If students miss their scheduled dance class, they may make up that class by attending the same or lower level dance class. Students may come to a different subject class than the one they are registered for. Refunds are not given for missed classes.

Speaking with Teachers

If a student/parent wishes to speak with an instructor about a personal matter or to voice concerns, please do not do so before or during class time. Please ask the instructor when an appropriate time would be or call Julestarz to set up an appointment.

Personal Items

Please make sure your child’s name is written on all of their personal items (shoes, dance wear, etc.) This will avoid any confusion when items are left in class.

Lost & Found

Please check the Lost & Found in the Lobby if you lose an item. Any jewelry found will be kept in the office.

Food & Drink

Please NO FOOD OR DRINK (except water) in the studio & lobby!

The following rules and guidelines are designed so that each student is ensured the safest environment, and so that the instructors may successfully teach each student and class in the most effective way possible. Please adhere to the following rules:

Rules and Guidelines

1. Please be prompt! This allows the classes to remain on schedule and avoid other students being distracted by a late arrival.

2. No gum chewing during class.

3. Those picking up students from classes please be prompt.

4. The phone at the studio is for business calls only, but may be used in an emergency situation if students need to contact their parent(s) and/or guardian(s).

5. There is a minimum required enrollment for a class to be held. We reserve the right to cancel any classes and a refund is guaranteed.

6. All fees including but not limited to registration, tuition, costumes, recital fees, recital tickets, company team fees, company team warm ups, company team bags, company team competition fees and company team convention fees are non-refundable.
