Mr. Gary Flannery


Gary Flannery, is a professional performer who toured the world as Shirley MacLaine’s partner; was a Principal Dancer on many TV Shows and Hollywood movies; and was Bob Fosse’s LEAD dancer on Broadway in “PIPPIN” and “DANCIN”, and was Fosse’s Principal Dancer in the movie “ALL THAT JAZZ!”   Gary serves as a strong leader, teaching Master Classes, Lectures, and Seminars at Universities, Dance Schools and Colleges around the world!

Gary teaches ANY level of  **FOSSE REP** and Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, some Hip-Hop, Music Theatre specialties, as well as Dance and Music Theatre History, directs and choreographs, writes plays, musicals and revues, and still performs.  Flannery was Bob Fosse’s protégé, after receiving scholarships in ballet to Balanchine’s School of American Ballet and the Juilliard School!

Presently Gary is working hard on finishing his 23 years of work on a multi-level project *The Great American Revue” with books, documentaries and revivals being planned.  Bob Fosse called him the “Bull” for the shear non-stop, dance-till-you-drop attitude he took into rehearsals as well as performances, and Fred Astaire commenting on seeing Gary in Dancin’  in 1979 said “It was one of the greatest dance performances he had ever seen!”

Ms Brenda Campbell

Brenda Campbell brings over 40 years of dance experience to her classroom. She is a graduate of Dance Masters of America Teacher Training School at Kent State University and certified to teach ballet, tap and jazz. She was an active member of Dance Masters Florida Chapter 2. Miss Brenda served on the Board of Directors and ran the Junior Miss Dance pageant for several years. She was also an active member of Dance Educators of America and The Florida Dance Teacher Association. She was on the staff of North Carolina Dance Institute for 6 years working with students from ages 3 to adult. Miss Brenda owned and operated her own successful studio in Florida. Before relocating to Raleigh, she served as the pre-school director for Michael’s Academy of Dance in Coral Springs, Florida as well as teaching beginning through advanced students. Upon returning to Florida she is currently running the ballet, pointe. lyrical and tap program for a small studio in Apollo Beach. Her dance training began in Virginia with Dorothy Ewing of Ballet Russe. Under the direction of Christine Walker White, she danced with the Ballet Theater of Fort Lauderdale. She has studied with Fred Knecht, Ron Daniels and Ken Pfiffer. Miss Brenda had the privilege of judging the Florida Dance Masters of America performing arts competition, Junior Miss Dance, Petite Miss Dance and Miss Dance competitions. Miss Brenda loves sharing her passion for dance with all her students and is very excited to be working with Julestarz’s students.

Jennifer Lloyd

Jennifer has been teaching all ages and levels of dance for twenty years. She began her love of dance and performing at the age of three. Her training includes all forms of dance as well as baton twirling, dance team, and cheer.
While attending Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania she performed in many productions at the school’s theater, The Pittsburgh Playhouse. After graduating from Point Park with a B.A. in Dance with a minor in Psychology, she began teaching and knew that was the only career for her.
Her students have won many awards at regional competitions in Pittsburgh and national competitions in Las Vegas, New York, Wildwood, Boston, Tampa, Nashville, Orlando and Daytona. In addition to numerous High Score of the Day her awards include Best Choreography, Best Technique, Best Presentation, Best Precision, Class Act, Broadway Bound, Most Entertaining as well as monetary awards and scholarships. Her students have also enjoyed performing at many local events, Walt Disney World and on Carnival Cruise Line.
Jennifer is so proud that many of her students continue their love of dance on colligate dance teams or dance programs at various schools such as Point Park University, The University of Pittsburgh, Penn State, Ohio State, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Miami of Ohio, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Georgetown, James Madison University, Syracuse, Slippery Rock University, Gannon University, Seaton Hill University, and many others. She is also proud of her former students who are now dancing professionally in New York, Las Vegas, and on various cruise lines. Most recently, you may have seen one of her students performing in The 88th Academy Awards ceremony with The Weekend to his song “Earned It”.

Christianna Concilio

Christi Concilio started dancing at the age of three and has competed since the age of nine all across the United States. She is originally from Elmont, New York, where she began her training at Miss Edie’s Dancing Feet. She moved to Florida her Freshman year of high school and continued her training at Julestarz Academy for the Performing arts until graduation. She has trained in genres such as Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical and more. Christi choreographed and performed dances for Newsome High School’s production of Seussical the Musical. She is currently enrolled at the University of South Florida where she plans to obtain a degree in Criminology. This is Christi’s second year teaching classes at Julestarz.

Ms. Rhonda Williams

photoRhonda Williams has been involved in dance instruction and choreography for over 25 years. She has made dance appearances on the Rikki Lake show, choreographed pieces for theater plays, Plant City High School Dance Squad, Strawberry Queen Pageant, Little Miss Plant City court, Hillsborough County Harvest Queen, and the Plant City Dolphins. Ms. Williams is a former studio owner and judge for StarPower Dance Competition and currently holds a BA in Psychology.
