Policies & Fees
Dance tuition at Julestarz is based on a yearly rate for the amount of weeks that classes are in session. For your convenience, tuition is divided into equal monthly payments. The monthly payment remains the same regardless of how many lessons fall in a given month because your monthly payment is not for a month of lessons, but for one portion of the year’s lessons. If paying monthly, tuition is due on the first of each month.
PRIVATE MUSIC LESSON TUITION
20 minutes, ages 5 & 6 $15 per lesson
30 minutes, ages 7+ $22 per lesson
Upon registration, music students will be charged a fee for the supplied music books. Price of books varies by age, instrument, and level of difficulty. Tuition for music lessons is due on the first of the month for the number of lessons that fall within that month.
We encourage all families to sign up on our AutoPay system. You can pick up your EFT forms from the office staff.
Registration Fee
There is an annual, nonrefundable registration fee of $25 due at the time the student registers.
Costume Fee
There is a costume fee of $70 per class due by Nov. 1, 2009. There will be a $10 late fee if received after Nov. 6, 2009.
Recital Fee
There will be a recital fee due which will pay for the renting of the recital facility. Recital fee and date due will be announced in the future.
Tuition payments
- Tuition is due on the first of every month. If your first class of the month falls after the 1st, then please pay your tuition the prior week to ensure we receive it on time. A $10 late fee will be charged to your account after a 5day grace period.
- Payments can be placed in the payment box located in the studio lobby or by mail.
- If paying by cash, please put it in an envelope with the student’s name on it.
- If paying by check, please write the student’s name on the bottom of the check.
- If you have questions regarding your account, please call the studio and someone will return your call. Teachers are unable to discuss your bill between classes.
Make-up classes
If students miss their scheduled class, they may make up that class by attending the same or lower level dance class. Students may come to a different subject class than the one they are registered for. Refunds are not given for missed classes.
Speaking with Teachers
If a student/parent wishes to speak with an instructor about a personal matter or to voice concerns, please do not do so before or during class time. Please ask the instructor when an appropriate time would be or call Julestarz to set up an appointment.
Personal Items
Please make sure your child’s name is written on all of their personal items (shoes, dancewear, etc.) This will avoid any confusion when items are left in class.
Lost & Found
Please check the Lost & Found in the Lobby if you lose an item. Any jewelry found will be kept in the office.
Food & Drink
Please NO FOOD OR DRINK (except water) in the studio & lobby!
The following rules and guidelines are designed so that each student is insured the safest environment, and so that the instructors may successfully teach each student and class in the most effective way possible. Please adhere to the following rules:

Please be prompt! Allows the classes to remain on schedule and avoid other students being distracted by a late arrival.
No gum chewing during class, please.
Those picking up students from classes please be prompt.
The phone at the studio is for business calls only, but may be used in an emergency situation if students need to contact their parent(s) and/or guardian(s).
There is a minimum required enrollment for a class to be held. We reserve the right to cancel any classes and a refund is guaranteed.
